How to claim your listing on Cima Find Care

If you're a Texas addiction counselor, recovery coach, physician, psychologist or treatment program, you may already be on Find Care, built from public records. Claiming it is free and takes about five minutes. Here's what you get and how it works.

By Ryan Coane, LCDC-I. Updated October 27, 2026.

What you get, free

  • Your listing, in your words. Your photo, what you focus on, who you work with, the insurance you take, your fees, and what a first visit is like, instead of a name and a phone number.
  • A free website at gocimahealth.com/yourname, ready for Google, with a flyer and QR code to print. See the free website.
  • Free online booking. People pick an open time from your listing; you accept it, and it's on your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar. How booking works.
  • A "Find me on Cima Find Care" badge for your own website or email signature.
  • A checked license. We check your Texas license or certification before your listing goes up, and say so on it.

How to claim it

  1. Find yourself. Open your city on Find Care (for example Houston) and the list for what you do: treatment programs, addiction counselors, recovery coaches, physicians or psychologists. On your listing, choose Claim this listing. Not listed? Start a new listing.
  2. Start from your NPI. We fill in your name, credential, license and office from your public NPI record. Fix anything that's out of date.
  3. Add the rest. The insurance you take, your focus, your fees, how people reach you, and whether you want free online booking. You'll see your listing and free website take shape as you type.
  4. We check and send it to you. We check your Texas license or certification, set up your listing (and your booking page, if you asked for one) and email it to you to approve. Nothing goes live until you say yes.

Questions

What does it cost?

Nothing. A basic listing is free, for good, and so is online booking for one clinician. Featured placement, when it's offered, is a paid, clearly labeled spot. Find Care is never paid per referral, call or client.

Why am I listed if I never signed up?

Unclaimed listings come from public records: the federal NPI registry, SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov, the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council's license rolls, and for sober living, Oxford House's list of houses. Claiming lets you correct and complete yours. You can also ask us to take it down.

I run a treatment program with several locations.

Each location has its own page, grouped under your program on city lists. Claim each location, or write to us and we'll help you claim them together.

Does claiming change my Google rating?

No. Ratings, hours and photos on listings come live from Google Maps; we don't store or change them. Your own photos and description come from you.
